Our Vision:

It is our vision and constant aim to provide your children with the highest quality care and environment and the best opportunities in education, outdoor play areas and social development, right from the very young through to starting school.

Our Values:

Children will experience a richness of love at Angels and each child will understand of their unique identity and of God's love for them, based on 1 Corinthians 13. Angels is a family, and our teachers create an atmosphere that promotes hospitality, warmth, grace, hope and love. Children require opportunities to develop genuine, trusting relationships which are an important part of our life here at Angels.

We promote relationships that help children to develop that genuine love for God, themselves and others. Love is the essence of who we are. Angels will provide a nurturing environment that is filled with exploration, security and an atmosphere that will capture children's interests and hearts.

Our curriculum is firmly based in God's word and draws on the principles, strands, goals and learning outcomes of New Zealand's Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whariki. Children will experience an environment where a love for learning and fun is cultivated by experienced and knowledgeable staff. Our curriculum is based on the foundations of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and we honor this treaty for all Tangata Whenua and families of our community.

Children will experience the skills, qualities and development of personal virtues to help them become valuable members of society.

At Angels we sow seeds of the Fruits of the Spirit: love, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, forgiveness, peace, joy, patience and self-control. These virtues, attitudes and skills are an essential part of a child's life and we aspire to foster these as we enable children to develop their gifts and talents for service in Gods love.

Children will develop skills and readiness for school in our unique programs. Our children are provided with every opportunity to explore their capabilities and extend on their knowledge. Connections to home are strenghthened, when our community of teachers and parents work with each other in partnership.
